Salomon XT-4 OG GTX x atmos

The XT-4 OG GTX emerges from the return of the XT-6 “STARS COLLIDE” in 2023, continuing the same conceptual thread. The upper is saturated with star graphics and reflective layers, producing a shifting shimmer that reacts to light like a surface caught mid-orbit—never fixed, never still, always responding rather than sitting.

The star motif itself is a recurring atmos signature, first appearing in its earliest collaborations and resurfacing here not as nostalgia, but as coded design language—linking past releases to a future still forming in fragments, where heritage is continuously rewritten rather than preserved.

Beneath this visual language sits Salomon’s technical core: GORE-TEX® protection, Contagrip® traction, and ACS stability, carrying trail-running DNA that has been displaced and reworked for environments far removed from the trail itself.

The palette leans into cosmic navy and metallic silver, shifting the XT-4 OG GTX into something closer to an urban artefact from another atmosphere, held in tension between visibility and function, where design performs utility and utility becomes design.
