Last year, atmos was the first sneaker shop in the world to produce a collaboration model with Salomon, the XT-6 “Stars Collide”, and this “Concrete Jungle” is their third collaboration in about a year. As the model name suggests, the GORE-TEX upper is chicly colored in a gray gradient, inspired by the vast “concrete jungle” of Tokyo, where atmos is based. And by treating the overlays, including the side lines, with speckles reminiscent of concrete, the design blends naturally into the city. Of course, it has the functionality of the original model, such as an easy-to-put-on and take-off lacing system and EVA cushioning. This is a pair of shoes that is sure to be useful in a wide range of situations, from urban life to outdoor fields such as festivals and camping.
