ASICS teams up with Los Angeles-based streetwear designer Tremaine Emory, a.k.a. Denim Tears on a unique set of GEL-MC PLUS colorways in the “Georgia Red Clay” Pack. This collaboration is a true tribute to storytelling through fashion and inspired by the creative’s roots in Harlem, Georgia. The “Burnt Ochre” red and “Angora” white colorways are inspired by the story of Emory’s grandfather and uncle who worked at a company that used red and white clay to make fire bricks and pipes. Meanwhile, this model emphasized the notion of “Motion Control” and built with hits of pigskin nubuck and blended with tumbled leather, the design emulates the impact of walking on the ‘Georgia Red Clay” through a burnished and brushed midsole.
